Galveston Get It For Me Service

Get It For Me" (GIFM), a streamlined document delivery service for TAMUG faculty, staff, and students. GIFM allows you to request materials not available in our catalog and have them delivered free of charge, with faster response times and expanded access to libraries nationwide and internationally. To get started, register with your NetID and use the easy-to-navigate platform to submit requests.

Description:

AI has an exceptional range of uses in the research process including summarizing documents, finding similar papers, and identifying key points of a body of text. This workshop is for anyone who wants to explore using AI to streamline their search process and synthesize information when conducting a Literature Review. This workshop will introduce tools such as Semantic Scholar, Perplexity, and Dimensions Analytics, and discuss the advantages and limitations of their associated AI. Intended Audience: Graduate Students and Faculty, or anyone who may be interested in incorporating AI into their research game.
