Resources for Second Semester Advising
Steps for Spring Advising
1. Download your interactive degree guide (see below) and open in Adobe Reader or Acrobat
Find the guide for your major below, and download it to your computer. Be sure you open with Adobe and not in the web browser. If you do not have Adobe Reader already, get it free at: get.adobe.com/reader.
2. Use your guide to make a tentative plan for next term
Click on the category/course once to turn blue for courses you plan to take in the upcoming Summer and/or Fall term. Click twice to turn yellow for those courses you have already completed. For elective areas, pick the appropriate course from the dropdown.
3. Submit your plan
Once you have drafted a plan on your guide, submit it in the online submission form.
4. Schedule an appointment via Navigate
Schedule an appointment with your CALS Academic Advisor via Navigate. Be sure you have submitted your guide prior to your appointment!
