The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed the landscape of higher education by increasing the use of technology in course instruction. Just as we require all our students to have specific textbooks and supplies in order to gain the highest quality educational experience, there is a need for all students to have an appropriate computer to ensure they are able to fully participate in course work.
Computer Requirements
As a result of the changing landscape in higher education, Texas A&M University at Galveston now requires students to have access to an appropriate computer to complement course instruction.
Minimum computer specifications are listed below. Most computers purchased in the past few years should meet the minimum standards.
