What in your life drew you to your current field of study?
I knew at age 16 that I wanted to teach in Higher Education. I was intrigued by anything that dealt with composition, literacy, and culture.
What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?
I hope students learn how to become stronger writers. When students begin my f-to-f or online courses with beginning writing strategies, the goal is to develop advanced writing/comprehension skills by the end of the semester.
What are you passionate about in your personal life?
Writing, Reading, Computer Technology, (my three children).
