What in your life drew you to your current field of study?

I began my undergraduate studies as a nursing major and I took an elective in international relations and knew that was my passion.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

To see the interconnectedness of everything and to always speak truth to power in the relentless pursuit of human rights for everyone...

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

Working with women in post-conflict societies who are rebuilding their lives and their communities for a more just and equitable society.
