What in your life drew you to your current position?

In my career ambitions I’ve always wanted to explore different areas in education. But my overall passion for helping and assisting others without a doubt is what got me here. Now, I am part of Texas A&M in the Department of Maritime Business Administration, and I am hoping my hunger for living, learning, and helping will contribute to our team.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

I know that each student needs to feel welcome to ask questions and understand that I am here to assist them in their academic career. I strive to provide an office atmosphere full of positivity and personal care.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

I am passionate about gardening with my lovely cactuses and flowers, volunteering at art festivals and galleries, and enjoy the creative pleasure in decoration and design. I’ve also been known to dance away the stresses of life with salsa music.
