Social Media
If your division, service or department is branching out onto social media for the first time, or if you are new to the university communications environment and are looking to enhance your unit’s social media presence, we’re here to help.
Social media platforms capture the dynamic conversation of our university — that’s why it's important to remember that when you refer to Texas A&M University at Galveston, you are representing the Texas A&M brand. While these platforms are called "social" media and not "professional" media, be sure to use the correct university logos in your pages and messages to ensure a Texas A&M-Galveston branded look.
Those who wish to create a new social media account on behalf of the campus should first check with the Division of Marketing & Communications to see if an account already exists and to register for training and additional resources, including profile pictures and cover photos.
NOTE: Emergency management communication visuals should not be used by anyone other than the Texas A&M University at Galveston Division of Marketing and Communications on social media channels to allow us to communicate effectively with our audiences.
The Galveston Campus abides by the social media policies developed by the Texas A&M University System.
