Active citizenship is a keystone of democracy. A student exhibiting active citizenship leads others to  participate in opportunities for engagement in communities and acts of selfless service. Through active  and ongoing mentoring relationships the student encourages others to engage in community.

  2. Practice selfless service. 
  3. Mentor others. 
  4. Engage in local, national, and international communities.


The Campus Community Builder Award honors student organization commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community at TAMUG. Through innovative outreach strategies and welcoming programming, the organization encouraged TAMUG students to actively engage in campus life, emphasizing the importance of connection and participation.
