The College of Marine Sciences & Maritime Studies of Texas A&M University located at the Texas A&M University at Galveston campus is a premier institution for maritime leadership and ocean and coastal studies on the Gulf Coast and a 21st century academic institution where research and scholarship are one with student learning and success. We seek to maintain the high standards of an Association of American Universities (AAU) institution and with a distinct identity in marine themes, the college and campus are intimately connected to the Land Grant mission of Texas A&M University. As Aggies by the Sea, the college and campus further support the Sea Grant mission of Texas A&M University and offers seamless boundaries in research, scholarship, and learning between the two campuses. Its academic programs and research initiatives are linked to finding basic and applied solutions in maritime affairs, technology, and ocean studies. This distinguished and renowned status would not be possible without the dedication of our faculty, staff and students.
