MEALS SHARED, COMMUNITY GAINED

Howdy!

Comunidad offers first-year students an opportunity to create a support system and aid as they transition to Texas A&M University at Galveston. Campus professors and staff invite first-semester students in as they host a meal at a local restaurant or offer a home-cooked meal. Our campus partners engage in in-depth conversations while developing a network with participating students. Comunidad provides a chance for students to network and gain a better understanding of the various realities that come with being a sea aggie.

The Comunidad program for Fall 2023 concluded in the fourth week of school. We want to thank all of the students, faculty and staff who broke bread and shared in conversations while building our TAMUG community.
