SST Schedule    

Details concerning all logistics, including public celebrations, port activities, and more will be communicated as the plans are solidified with Maine Maritime Academy

Communications regarding Summer Sea Term will be released on Thursdays, where applicable. All communications will be distributed following Texas A&M Maritime Academy protocols and will be made available through Academy social media channels: @texasmaritime.

All maritime operations are fluid and subject to change with little notice. The information below should be used for planning purposes only.

Tentatively scheduled ports of call for SST 2026:

  • May 18 - Texas A&M Maritime Academy Cadet check-in aboard the TS State of Maine (Galveston,TX)

  • May 23 - Depart Galveston, TX

  • June 4 - Arrive at Charleston, SC

  • June 7 - Depart Charleston, SC

  • June 13 - Arrive at St. John's Newfoundland, Canada  

  • June 16 - Depart St. John's Newfoundland Canada 

  • June 23 - Arrive Port Everglades, FL

  • June 26- Depart Port Everglades, FL

  • July 3 - Arrive New York City, NY for the 250th Anniversary of the United States Naval Review

  • July 4 - Depart New York City, NY 

  • July 6-9 - Boston, MA or Portland, ME (TBD)

  • July 12- Arrive Castine, ME - Maine Maritime Academy 

  • July 16 - SST 2026 ends all TAMMA Cadets will fly via charter flights to Houston Hobby Airport (FBO Wilson Air)
