Located on Pelican Island in Galveston County, the Texas A&M University at Galveston Event Venues offers several eclectic spaces. Our Aggie Special Events Center (ASEC) opened its doors in 2018 with 38,000 square feet for use as seminar and meeting rooms, and it boasts a modern, state-of-the-art grand ballroom. The Waterfront Pavilion and Amphitheater, built in 2017, is one of Galveston's only venues off the Galveston Bay Channel. The 6,000 square foot intimate venue is encased in glass on three sides and includes a 310 linear foot amphitheater outdoors.
